Not Now Darling
by Ray Cooney and John Chapman
This British farce about mistresses and minks in the London fur salon of Bodley, Bodley, and Crouch will make you laugh like a drain.
Gilbert Bodley plans to sell an expensive mink dirt cheap in order to please the buyer's wife who also happens to be Gilbert's lover. Instead of doing his own dirty work, he convinces his reluctant partner, Arnold Crouch, to do it for him.
Things go horribly wrong when the customer plans to buy the very same mink for his own mistress. The whole plan goes out the window along with women's clothing and a few other things. The play is full of mistaken identities, scantily clad women kept hidden in closets and mysterious love triangles.
Performed by Helsinki Attic Theatre on:
May 4th and 12th 2009 at 17.30 in Caisa, Mikonkatu 17 C, Helsinki
